also have Win7 x64. I had some issues, and this is what I did. I completely uninstalled the game, and deleted the NCSoft folder in Program Files (x86) Then I redownloaded the NCSoft Launcher, I installed it and let it download the game client, it updated and patched to v12. When I finally got the message saying installation was complete. I then did a consistency check on the game. When that was done, I then extracted the Sapphire Aion files and copied them over into the Aion folder. Poof, everything worked.
